Confirmation: "Affirmation of Faith"

"But in your heart set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have." I Peter 3:15

At Christ Lutheran, the Confirmation program is a two-year program designed for students in grade 8 and grade 9. Each year, classes begin in September and end in May. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:15 pm.

The elements of the programs are designed to help students know what they believe, know why they believe it and discover how to live their lives as faithful followers of Christ.

Requirements include; class attendance, sermon notes, homework assignments, faith interviews, participation in three group service projects, attend at least one Christian concert and the fall confirmation retreat. 

Plans are being made for our fall retreat. Concerts and service opportunities will be offered throughout the year.
